Tempered glass vs mesh PC case
Glass and mesh are the two ways a case lets you and the air in. Glass shows off the build and mesh lets the air flow freely, and many modern cases combine the two.
Tempered glass: the look
Tempered glass gives a clean, premium look and shows RGB fans and components without the scratches that plastic gets. It is heavier and more fragile than other panels, so handle it with care when you open the case.
Mesh: the airflow
A mesh panel gives the fans an open path, so more air reaches the CPU and graphics card. In general, mesh fronts keep parts cooler than a solid front, and they let more fan noise out. Mesh also needs dust filters, which you clean from time to time.
Cooling, noise and dust
A glass-fronted case can run slightly warmer and quieter, since fewer openings both trap heat and block noise. A mesh case runs cooler and a little louder. Dust gets into both cases, so intake filters you can remove and clean matter more than the panel type.
Which is better for Pakistan?
With hot summers, airflow should come first. Choose a case with a vented or mesh intake and fan mounts at the front, or one with tri-side ventilation. If you want the glass look, choose a tempered-glass case that still has vented panels, and fit enough intake fans.
How SONIC cases combine the two
Many SONIC cases pair a tempered-glass front or side with ventilated panels. The table shows the panels on each model.

Frequently asked questions
Is mesh better than glass for cooling?
In general, yes. A mesh panel lets more air reach the fans and components, so parts run cooler. Glass looks better but relies on vents elsewhere.
Is a tempered glass case louder or quieter?
A glass front usually blocks a little more noise than mesh, because fewer openings let sound out.
Do I need dust filters on a mesh case?
Yes. Filters catch dust before it reaches the fans and components, and you can clean them easily.
